大丸東京店は、JR東京駅八重洲北口改札を出てすぐ
スグラフィート（削り出し）技法を応用した下地で複雑なマチエールと絵の具の厚み、そして虹色に輝く画面が特徴です。作品コンセプトの根底には、ユングの「Night sailing journey (Night sea journey)」という心理学概念があり、「虚像」と「現実」、「光」と「闇」、「朝」と「夜」などを描くことで「生」と「死」を見つめる問いかけをしています。

The works are characterized by complex matières, thick layers of paint, and rainbow-colored screens with undertones created by applying the sgraffito (scraping) technique. The concept of the work is based on Jung’s psychological concept of “Night sailing journey (Night sea journey),” in which “false image” and “reality,” “light” and “darkness,” “morning” and “night,” etc. are depicted in order to question the viewer about “life” and “death.
